A weekend over flowing with greatness...

This weekend wasn't as restful as I may have needed but it was filled with so much fun that I can't complain! Saturday morning I got to sleep until 7:30 am... I know to many that is not sleeping in but after my busy week it was so nice! I headed out to work for the day which was busy and flew by which is always great. I spent the first 2.5 hours of my shift proving what an awesome auntie I am, while also helping customers.
This is why I'm such an amazing auntie... Kathy's kids love LEGO, and LEGO has created the coolest things called mini figures. They are basically special edition LEGO men that come with cool little accessories. They recently have released their third series of them. Each series have 16 mini-figures. Here's the catch though, they come in the above little bags, so you can't see through them. There used to be a bar code you could scan with an iphone, but this time those have been removed. Someone mentioned at work that there are dots on the package that let you know what's inside but I don't know about that. So when one doesn't know what's inside, one must start feeling away. So I had to take a package and feel around until I found a distinguishing accessory... which I did, ALL 16!!! I am the best auntie ever!! Go me!! I was quite proud!!
I thought this guy was too cute on the box that I had to find myself a Gorilla Man too! I love his little sweat drops on his head!

The evening I headed over to my friend Kerry's parents house for a fabulous dinner with great people. As I've mentioned, Kerry is moving and we are going to miss her so much. We are trying to get in all the hangout time possible before Thursday when she leaves. We're going out to dinner on Tuesday night, and I know I am going to cry- it's a given!! Anyway back to dinner. We had a wonderful night, visiting, chatting, eating and laughing. Here are pictures from the night to share the details of a spectacular night!
Natalie, Laura and Mark, getting cozy on the love seat
Our girl of the night, Kerry and miss Sadie... she is a tricky puppy to get a picture of
The gang having some laughs around the table, from left to right- Kerry, Natalie, Kathy, Ted, Dick, Laura and Mark. We missed having Brandon there that night!
Passing the delicious pretzels around the table... they are super delicious, it's a pretzel with a piece of sausage in the middle, I could eat them all day!
Ker and Nat ready to eat this delicious meal...
Here is a rundown of the meal... Pretzel Sausage... Grilled Veggies (sweet potato, onions, peppers, brussel sprouts etc)... Homemade Meatballs... Bacon wrapped dates (YUM)... ribs... philo pastry with pork and veggies in it. There was also a shrimp dish, but I'm not a big shrimp fan, but it looked amazing! Have I made you all hungry!?
Natalie and me
Twins, Kerry and Laura... dressed the same and didn't even plan it...
Growing baby bump... eek, I love baby Lantz already!!
The Lantz's family, soon to be three!
Dessert was fruit pizza... I'm getting the recipe to make this yummy treat!
Playing the best game ever! This was during reveal time... basically, everyone gets a piece of paper for everyone playing, in our case there was six. You number your six pieces and then on the first page you write a phrase, a movie title, song title, book title... anything. Then you hand your pile face down to the person next to you, they look at your phrase and then have to draw a picture to illustrate what is written. They put your phrase on the bottom of the pile, and hand their drawing face down to the next person. That person then has to write what they think the phrase was, based on the picture and so on. It's such a funny game because so many get changed so much. It's a game that brings so much laughter. We were hurting from laughing at the end of the night, tears were shed it was so funny!
Kerry had the privilege of sitting next to Ted, let's just say Ted is more creative in his illustrations, then he is artistic so it was always a challenge to determine what the phrase or picture should be!
This was probably the funniest round of the night... here's how the changes went...
Richard: "There's no fool like an old fool" (starting phrase)
Natalie: Drew a picture of a fool crossed out, and then an older looking fool next to it with a check mark... not so shabby
Ted: Wrote "Not the drunk clown but the lazy eyed crack head" (Oh my)
Kerry: Drew a clown drinking with an X by it and then another character doing drugs with a check mark by it... oh my!
Me: Wrote "Don't drink with clowns, Do drugs with gangsters" The advice of the night...
Kathy: Drew a clown drinking X'd out and a gangster doing drugs- what a change!

Sunday morning I was surprised to find out that Mike, Keah and the girls were in town. I was excited to see the ladies at church and I got to snuggle them both! That evening I headed over to mom and dad's for dinner and play time. Of course that means taking loads of pictures... both girls are getting so big, I think Keah said Finley is 16 lbs and Emmy is 14 lbs, and although that's only a 2 pound difference you and feel it! They are both babbling more and smiling lots. They love hearing music, but You are my sunshine and Patty Cake, are two fav's! They eat like little champs and enjoy being snuggled to sleep. I'm so glad I was able to go spend some time with them! I was able to rock Emmy to sleep, her song of choice to fall asleep was "We are the world" the newest version of it! Check out the shots from the night...
Emmy in the dress I gave her for Christmas, so adorable!
Twin sisters in their co-ordinating dresses that they wore to church today
Eek I love their baby blues!
Me and teeny, tiny Emmy... can't take enough pictures with them as babies!
Beautiful Finley holding her head up nice and high... I love laying down at their level.
Emmy loves her mommy and giving her kisses...
but she doesn't love her winter hat... love the face she is making in this shot!
Finley having some fun toe time...
Finally caught a smile from Emmy Girl...
Also excited to get a picture of both girls on their tummy's looking my way... as you can see it took having auntie kathy on face time on my iphone... they could see her talking to them and were fascinated!
Auntie Laura and Emmy...
Love this shot... two pairs of sisters! Emmy is making a great face in this one... so happy about it. What I also noticed is that I'm the big sister, holding Finley the big sister and Laura is the little sister, holding Emmy the little sister... too fun!

I'm excited to say that it's a Monday and I have the day OFF!!!!! Eek I love subbing and want to work as much as i can, but today was a much needed day off. I've made my to do list and I'm hoping to accomplish everything on it! Wish me luck!! Hope everyone stays warm and has a fantastic week!

At first when you wrote "Baby Lantz", I thought they were naming him Lance, but with a different spelling, haha!! That would probably only happen in Utah though, lol...

Wow, I want some ribs...yum!

SO excited for your book blog, I can't say it enough, haha
