Today is the second day of the new year and we've already had a special moment in our family. Our newest niece was blessed today at church. She was given a beautiful blessing by her grandpa, while surrounded by her uncle brandon, uncle jaccob and uncle ryan. Alexis was a little angel and just was content throughout the entire blessing. Her proud papa Jason held her up at the end and showed her to the congregation, it was so sweet. It was nice for us to sit in church and take up an entire row at church, and still not have enough room for everyone in our wonderfully large family.
It was an even bigger treat because I was surrounded by not only my Bing family but Kathy and Jeff and their family are in the same ward as the Bing's so I got to see them too. Miss G came and sat with us, and inspected all my jewelry, she loved the diamonds in my wedding rings. Oh oh, I might have started making a little monster... haha I love that kiddo. Jake came and sat with us too, he is such a loving little guy, always with the hugs. I love being surrounded by so many of my nieces and nephews.
I was able to give Alexis a little cuddle at the end of church, and snap a few pictures of the little cutie pie. She had the most beautiful outfit on, embroidered with pink flowers it was so darling. I wish I could have snapped more and more, but she was getting a little tired.

We were able to get together as a family after church for a DELICIOUS lunch, mama Bing makes delicious home made soup. We were able to just visit, chat and laugh it was really nice, we don't often get over for family time on Sunday, so it was great to spend time with everyone. Little Alexis caught up on some sleep while we ate, and she just looked so precious, I love how she sleeps with her little hand by her face. What a little sweetie pie!
We headed home since Brandon had to head off to work, and I had a little afternoon nap, which was needed. I took the second day of the new year as a day to relax, I'm still feeling sore from my work out last night. I did a Jillian Michael's exercise video and it kicked my butt. It was a 55 minute work out, and it was INTENSE! I'm excited to not feel so sore, so I can do it again. Have to keep up the exercise to work on my new year goal.
Glad I was able to share this special day with not only my family, but on here so that I can look back and remember how special today was.

you are always so great at documenting these special events. Looks like you have babies on both sides now :) I have just been thinking about how we need a HSM night like we said we were going to do.....we still need to!

Good job on the working out....that's my only complaint about being pregnant...I miss my workout classes SO bad!! I was getting so buff and losing weight. I'm glad I'm having a summer baby again though so that I can stay active.
