Today was a grade five day, and I enjoyed being back at the school after the weekend and a day off. I love being at this particular school because it feels like home. I know the staff pretty well, and they are all super friendly and caring. I love the students, and I love that I can probably name every student in the school. Days in this school can be challenging but it is totally worth it to be there and I am thankful for the opportunity every week when I might get to be there!
When I got home after a snowy walk home I had a card to make and a question for my sister, so I gave them a little call and had a nice chat. I love that our phones have the ability to video chat, so I got miss Georgia on the phone and had a grand old conversation... I also got to see Cooper, Jess, and Sarah, which totally made my day. I love those kiddies so much, and chance to talk to them is a bonus. Georgia asked me to take her picture with her bear, so using my camera I snapped this little beauty! Isn't she just a sweetie pie! It was great conversation while I made my card.

Tonight was our last girls night before Kerry leaves for Australia, as excited as I am for her to start this exciting new adventure in her life, I wish she wasn't doing it so far away. But I am thrilled and so happy for her and so happy that she found Stewart. Tonight we headed out to OPA! for dinner, which was exciting for me, I LOVE OPA! It was great company and delicious food, and I was super hungry after a busy school day. We ordered some appetizers, I had flaming cheese which was AMAZING!! We all ordered the chicken souvlaki, and I had the lemon potatoes with mine... delicious!! We had a fantastic meal and I think the pictures show that!

My yummy juice, I thought it looked so pretty, and delicious!

Kerry & Natalie... had to get a pic of all of us with Ker before she moves...

Me and Ker, friends since grade two, oh how I'm going to miss this girl

Laura and Kerry, I love how they coordinate, Laura's shirt and Ker's scarf, pretty girls!!

The Fab four that was left in Nova Scotia... I love these girls so so much and I don't know what I'd do without their friendship. Our group is now 50/50... three live in Nova Scotia and three live away.... I'd prefer 100% together, but hey maybe someday!

One last shot of Kerry in the snow... she was saying yesterday that it was -30 something here, and in Australia it was +30, I'm so jealous right now!!
We ran a few errands afterwards in the park, had some fun in the dollar store and then the teary goodbyes began. I was the first and the tears came. This is one of my best friends moving across the world, I want to think that it's only for a year, but it possibly could be a permanent thing, I'm happy but I'm going to miss her like crazy. I already have a package in mind to send her, just need to grab the things to send.
Kerry I love you so much and you are one of my best friends. Hope your flights go well and that you have an amazing Australian adventure and there better be LOTS of pictures... Stewart these can come from you too. Be safe and come home to visit sooner then later- or else!
