Wonderful Weekend: Sunday

So we had a busy and fun weekend here in our home, Brandon didn't get to partake in the festivities as much because of work. I'm going to recap the weekend in three posts, so here is the first one about Sunday.  Today Kathy and Jeff blessed baby cooper at church. Cooper did a  great job and didn't say a peep even though I heard his eyes were open the whole time taking it all in. Jeff gave him a beautiful blessing and Brandon and I were both so happy to be there to share in Cooper's special day! After church we took a bunch of pictures and ate loads of yummy food, I'm still full. There were so many people there to shower Cooper with love, he is a very loved boy!! Here are some of the pictures from a great Sunday!

We Heart Edward!!!

I LOVE TWILIGHT!!!!! Ohhh it's just so great... i love love loved the books and I even loved the movie. Yes I know it was low budget, but I still thought it was awesome and I'm looking forward to watching all the extras with sonja, hopefully this coming weekend. Before I write about the night, I have to write about the end of my night!
***
I came home from girls night just in a GREAT mood. Brandon was at work so I was just tidying the apartment, and I thought to myself, wouldn't it be fun if I went into my bedroom and there was some fun surprise. So I go in and what is on my bed-side table but a card from my sweetie. It was just a nice little thank you card sharing his appreciation for me, it really meant so much to me!! Thanks Brandon, love you!!!

Now on to TWILIGHT!!!!!! It came out yesterday, and Sonja was on top of getting it. She had a bunch of the girls over to watch it. It was a SUPER fun night of yummy food, great friends and super cutie pie Edward. The comments that everyone was making throughout the movie were awesome, I think if Amber could have written them down, she would have! So here are some pictures from the night, I'm really sad a few of these great gals won't be around too much longer, I had so much fun with everyone. I think Melese needs to share her carmel corn recipe, I'm still thinking about it!!! Also got to hold baby Cooper yesterday for almost the entire movie, it was WONDERFUL.... he is so tiny and so cute and I love him so much!!! I learned that for sure his middle name is Charles... Cooper Charles Nelson... CUTE!!! Such a FUN night, a BIG THANKS to Sonja for having us all over, hope we do it again soon!!
Here is the whole gang, gotta love timers... we all made it in :) What a good looking group of ladies!!

Cooper Nelson

Cooper Nelson
March 15,2009
9lbs.4oz.

That's right all my blogging friends, little Cooper is here. We all headed down after the first hour of church to visit the new baby, we were all super excited! Brandon and I made it first, are your surprised... that's when we learned that his name is Cooper, no middle name decided as of yet. He is a big guy, and so soooooo cute! He does look ALOT like Jacob and has just the biggest hands you've seen on a baby. He was very peaceful and sleepy when we were there, it was so wonderful to just hold him! The kiddies were super cute coming into visit their new brother. Georgia was the funniest, she just wanted to hold and kiss him, check out facebook for all the pictures from the day, I took over 87....CRAZY!!! Here are a few more pictures from our visit. Kathy and Jeff both seemed great, a little tired but great!! Hope you enjoy the newest family member!
Big sister Sarah holding her new little brother Cooper

Proudest Auntie and Uncle Ever... me and Bran...someday it'll actually be our own...SOMEDAY!
Little Miss Georgia LOVING her new Baby Brother
Biggest Sister Jessica is a pro an baby holding now!
I love this shot of Jake and his baby brother...finally!!! He told me today that he was wishing the baby would look like him...so cute... although he did say also that we should name the baby Pinocchio... so we'll see how he does with his new brother!
My first time ever holding Cooper... LOVE HIM!!!!

It's A BOY!!!!

It's almost 8am... so I feel like it's been long enough for Kathy and Jeff to call everyone and tell them that the big day has come... and if people didn't answer their phones and this ruins the surprise, I'm sorry but this is too EXCITING because as you can read in my title.... IT'S A BOY!!!!! My phone rang at like 5:47am and it was my sister sharing the news that the baby hard arrived and it's a BOY!!!! I was a little groggy but I'm pretty sure she said he weighed 9lbs.4oz... so her second smallest baby! Sarah was 9lbs.10z. She didn't know how long he was when I talked to her, and they were not decided on a name yet. She said that she only pushed like 3 times and he was out. He does look a lot like Jake so she said, which I heard Jake was pretty excited to hear that!! We're all heading down after sacrament today to see the baby and I'm SUPER excited... don't worry I'll be taking my camera, and post more details when I get home!!!!! woohooo a BOY!!!!!

Two Years Ago Today!!

Two Years Ago Today... was an exciting day for me and my sweetie. Brandon and I were engaged two years ago today... check out my old blog posts if you want to read about that exciting day! Our day started off not the best, just hectic and crazy with school, but the day ended GREAT! Brandon came home and surprised me with a dozen beautiful red roses and a thoughtful card. Then we went out to dinner close by at Applebee's we get all these mini foods and fries- it's just perfect!! Then we get apple chimmicheesecake for dessert and it's amazing, we learned last time that it was not a desert we could share! We're excited to just relax tonight and watch Idol! I'm so glad Brandon asked me to marry him two years ago... wow has the time just flown by!!! I love him very very much!

I Love My School

So as you have just witnessed in this video, we know how to have a fun time in the elementary education program at school. I had to share this on my blog because it just made me smile today. Every Friday I have my three hour seminar class with our great teachers Heidi and Margaret. We've recently started doing FUNdamentals each week... we are presented by our fellow students things that we can do to have some fun in our classrooms. It's our fifteen minutes of fun each class and I now look forward to it every week. This week Jill did our fun, and she had us stretching, reading a poem and then dancing to the YMCA, and it was so much fun, I'm hoping Dave will post his pictures soon so I can steal them. If you look closely too, you can see our smallest classmate was there today, Leanne had her baby in January or Febuary, I don't quite remember, but she brought her little girl Mary to class and she was so cute and so good, what a little beauty.

I hope my fifteen minutes of fun gave you a little laugh and made you smile, I recommend that everyone do something randomly fun each and every day, it'll make you feel GREAT!!!!
