Six... Not a very exciting day

Friday: Blog Goal Day Six
ACCOMPLISHED
I'm typing like crazy because the day has gotten away from me and I want to beat the clock to get my Friday post in. I have seven minutes to type type type. Today was pretty uneventful, I did not get out of PJ's, which sometimes a gal just needs a day like that.
***
Today I got to do some visiting teaching interviews, which turned out wonderful but stressed me out initially because I don't love calling people on the phone and then asking them to do something, in this case, talk about visiting teaching. But everyone I talked to and those who returned my call were super sweet and really gave me happy feelings about visiting teaching. No one is perfect but we are all trying to do our best, and I appreciated that so much.
***
The rest of the day went like this... watched the office, cooked dinner, made some cards and watched some shows on line and a movie that Beckey hooked me up with, called Star Struck. It was a Family Channel movie that I wanted to see but missed, and was pretty bummed especially since one of my third grade students said it was awesome- which is was. Teeny bopper cute but I loved it! Now I'm just trying to get my lesson for Relief Society finished up, I've decided to talk on feeling Love and Belonging in Relief Society, and am using a story called Leon the Chameleon... I'm pumped about it, so hopefully it all makes sense!
***
Tomorrow I am going to Sonja's second ultrasound. I'm so excited! I was supposed to get to go to one of the Twin's ultra sounds but they came a little early so that didn't get to happen, so I'm excited to have this opportunity, it's my first ultra sound it's going to be neat! More about that tomorrow.

Since a blog isn't a blog without some pictures, here are some shots of some little people I love taken on Easter Sunday. It was a beautiful day and we had some fun outside. Auntie Laura came up with some of these great shots. It is now midnight so technically I am late on my post, but I say it still counts. Hope you enjoy my pic's of the fab 5 I love these kids with all my heart!!!

A busy day FIVE- Art-Mail-Dinner

Thursday: Blog Goal Day Five
Accomplished!
So today I can say that I don't feel as lazy as I've been feeling. I started my day with the normal Internet checking that I do... e-mail, blogs and facebook. I do have to complain, I love entering giveaways on blogs, but I've been getting a lot of junk mail I think from it... does anyone who has hotmail know how to block junk mail?? Anyway back to my day. I had the chance to go back to my practicum class to visit and help them out. Today was their big painting day, and they did an amazing job. The canvas was about the size of their desks so they had their work cut out for themselves. Michelle and I got all their paint selections prepared over lunch so that we'd be ready to paint. She was telling me that the kids were super excited to see me all week. One of the little girls in the class today even said that I was the best teacher ever- love her!
***
Seriously kids have the best way of making a person feel loved, as soon as the kids saw me lined up outside the room, they were all waving with big grin on, and when they were invited into the room they all ran to me and hugged me, it was amazing. It was nice to know I was missed. So many kids wanted me to notice their new track jackets and hair cuts, it was so nice. I plan to go visit the kids again real soon. Since I can't post any of the kids pictures, I thought I would share some of the work that they did today and boy did they work hard. Both Michelle and I were so happy with the end product.
***
I also need to mention how much I love the staff at the school, so many of the staff welcomed me back and asked first thing about the twins. It was so thoughtful that they'd remember the girls, everyone was thrilled to hear that they are doing so great!
Check out this cute monkey
Elephants on a walk... check out the baby elephant
Cool shark... thought the color mixing was GREAT!
an adorable ape... i love the little face
Penguin and baby, love the two blues...
***
When I got home I was excited to open my mail box and see that my first giveaway win had arrived. It was baby shoes from the cute shop on ETSY called the little posh bebe, http://www.etsy.com/shop/littleposhbebe. I don't have the baby for them yet or anytime soon right now... but I do hope I have a little girl some day to wear these shoes, because they are super cute. Can't you see them with a pretty dress for a baby's blessing day. I just love them, and would totally order more from that ETSY shop, you should check it out!
Then already coming home excited from getting a package in the mail, which thrills me! I walk in with some groceries ready to make dinner when Brandon says that he's going to take me out to dinner as a congratulations on my new job. He said he felt bad that we hadn't done anything yet, he even said he was going to get me a card but he ran out of times. I thought the thought of it was really sweet. So I'm not trying to brag, but before we went out Brandon cleaned the whole apartment, so it was an extra treat day for me, and it was appreciated! We went somewhere close by for dinner, which was Applebee's and it was actually really delicious, we find that sometimes it is hit or miss, but tonight was a hit!
***
Now I'm just relaxing at home, just got in my survivor fix for the night, although I do miss watching it with the girls. I'm just waiting for Brandon to get back from the gym so we can watch some more office, don't tell him though I'm watching the new episode right now, and enjoying it! We are loving this show, but we agree that you need to watch it from the beginning to appreciate the characters. I'd only watched one episode before, and it wasn't that funny, but I saw that episode earlier tonight and it was a hoot! Anyway I'll stop my rambling for the night, keep the comments coming as I work on completing my goal of a week of blogs!

Day Four Stampin' Fun

Wednesday: Blog Goal Day Four
Accomplished!!

I cannot wait until I am working more then one shift a week. Right now where I am still training I'm not working as much as I would like, but it's okay because I know more shifts are coming soon, but I do find myself getting lazy and I don't like that. I'm not being as productive on my days off as needed, and I need to shake that. I also find that I am staying up later which also needs to change. So as soon as I finish this I'm off to bed!
***
Today other then being lazy and watching the office, I went to work for three hours and we had training on customer service, and although I've worked in retail for what seem like FOREVER, I learned a few new things and had a blast doing the activities we did tonight. I am so excited to be working at Chapters, I love everything about it so far and the people I've met are all super friendly. My high light of tonight was seeing my junior high science teacher at work, he is retired now, and works at Chapters a bit, and he was there tonight. It was like I was back in Jr.High. He came in the stock room where we were having our training and was introduced, I say hi, and he even remembered me- I was pumped! That's the kinda teacher I want to be. PS Laura he remembered you too and asked what you were up to in school.
***
I'm pumped for tomorrow because I'm going to see my grade three students. Michelle had e-mailed me saying that they were going to start their big paintings this week for the entrepreneurship project that they're doing and that she'd love some help, I'm all down for helping and seeing the kids again so I'm super excited! Plus it will get me out of the house and doing something productive!

Since a post is not complete without some pictures, here are some pictures from the Stampin' Up birthday party we had at Kathy's house this weekend. In honour of her birthday we all got together, made some cards, ate some food and won some prizes it was great. Kathy is actually now a demonstrator for Stampin' Up and sells the product, so if anyway wants to host a party or be invited to one that we have let me, or Kathy know and it can be set up. It was a super fun night and we made some simple but awesome cards- they were totally my style! Great job on your first workshop sister!!
This chunky monkey welcomed everyone to the party

Day Three... it's a GREAT one!

Tuesday: Blog Goal Day Three
ACCOMPLISHED!
So today was a pretty exciting day, I slept in today until 10:30 ish which for me is big. It does help that I was up last last night watching The Office with Brandon... we are hooked. Tonight though I need a normal sleep, so I plan to be asleep before he gets home from work so we won't be tempted to watch the office until 1 am. But this is not why today was exciting, it was exciting because I had planned to go visit the babies today anyway, but then mom called me to tell me that Keah was going to get to hold both girls at the same time today, so I was PUMPED! Keah got to hold the girls for a long time today and it was so nice to just sit and watch her snuggle her girls, and then get to take tons of pictures, over 100 I know I have issues. It was hard not to reach out and touch the girlies, but I'm waiting until they are big and strong before I get to hold them. I just LOVED seeing them outside of their incubators. It was a GREAT day!! Since I can't post any baby pictures yet Laura said I could post two of her most recent pictures, so here we go...
For those who may not have known, Laura's first ring wasn't her real ring, it was holding the place for her real one to take it's place. This week on her visit to Washington the real one took it's place and it's a beauty! I'm dying to see it in real life and I plan to take it's picture and try it on... don't care if Laura doesn't want me to, I will!! Hehehe love you laura. Can I get everyone to look at this picture of the ring... super beautiful, but look at Laura's fingers- they are CREEPY in this picture. Her fingers are proportional in real life but in this picture her fingers look creepy and long, like legs, their almost like a plank on a pirate ship... isn't is insane! All honesty though it's a beauty Laura and I'm so excited and happy for you!
Isn't this a great shot, taken by themselves, Laura is pretty creative. I'm excited for them, and I hope all works out for Brandon and I to make it across the country for this wedding it's going to be a great day. Dad convinced Brandon that we need to get there somehow because Dad told Brandon that we could make a quick trip down to California to go to Disney and Brandon's mission and he was sold. Fingers Crossed!
***
The rest of my day was full of relaxation, I'm watching GLEE right now and loving it as always. I have another night of training at Chapters and I'm excited to go again. I love the atmosphere and I really think I'm going to like working there. They gave us a DVD to watch on their LOVE of Reading Fund and it brought tears to my eyes. It's crazy how many children are suffering due to lack of books in their own school, seriously if you want to check out something amazing and something worth while check out the Love of Reading Fund on that Chapters site
***
Here are some pictures from Kathy's birthday, I was able to hangout with her on her birthday because it was also One Tree Hill night, double score. I'm glad I got to celebrate with her, she is an awesome sister and I love her loads!
The Nelson Ladies... gotta love cheese ball miss g
Pops holding his buddy cooper... he looks like a giant in this picture... cooper that is not dad
Someone wasn't ready for bed, so she hung out with us, we enjoy taking pictures, so this was our self portrait! I love this kid!
Last picture for the night is of part of kathy's birthday card, isn't it toooo cute!

Happy Birthday Mike & Kathy...

Monday: Blog Goal Day 2 ACCOMPLISHED!
Happy Birthday Mike & Kathy!

I have to give a birthday shout out to my big brother and sister today. They share the same birthday with two years between them, although Mike didn't always love sharing his day I think he's grown to love sharing this day with his first sister.
***
I just quickly want to share some of the reasons why I love these guys. Mike is a great big brother, if you'd asked me if I thought that when I was younger the answer might not have been the same. If you ask Mike about this, he will tell you that when he went on his mission, I told him I hoped he'd never come home. I know what a brat! Anyway he did come home, and he came home an awesome big brother. He's caring, funny and would do anything to help his little sisters. He's been a great example of a teacher for Brandon and myself. We are excited that he's now a dad, we all knew he'd be a great one he just needed the chance, and we are so thrilled that he has it now! This is going to be an exciting year for his family, and we are lucky to be a part of it. Happy Birthday Mike, I love you to bits!!
***
I'm going to sound like the best sister ever, but Kathy is one awesome big sister to have... again though if you asked me this in the teen years it would have been another story. Kathy and I shared a room, a lot- I think that explains a lot! We didn't always get along, and we would bicker a lot! Once Kathy even got the top of her ear pierced and she said it hurt so I hit her ear and it ended up swelling over. Let's just say it hurt her even more and she had to get it removed at the hospital- isn't that sisterly love. I know what a brat! Anyway Kathy got married and after that we started to become friends, and that has grown and grown, and now she is not only my sister but one of my best friends. I know that I can call her with any dumb food related question and she'll laugh at me and then help me out. We talk multiple times a day- and if we don't, the day doesn't feel quite complete. I love that we share a hobby in crafting, and I love the extra time that I get to hang out with her. She is a very busy mom who does everything for her kids, but she always makes time for me, and I really appreciate it. I love her kids and the people they are growing into, and I know that they will one day be as awesome as her! Happy Birthday Kathy, I love you lots! I feel like a pretty lucky sister to have these two in my life!
***
I also wanted to give a little shout out to my sister-in-law Brittany, isn't she beautiful! Anyway we were over doing laundry at my in-law's tonight (I know we are lucky) and I was able to have a quick chat with Brittany, which is always nice. She has been working her butt off with exams this year, she is in school to become a dental hygienist, and that means that she has 11 exams this year- 11 can you even believe it. So the poor girl has been working hard and studying lots, and is now down to three exams- 2 tomorrow and 1 Wednesday and I have to give her a big shout out because I found having 4 exams too many! I wish her lots of good luck, she will be amazing at her job and I know she'll do a great job with her exams- then end is insight- then it's SUMMER TIME!! Good Luck Britty!!
***
Last but not least, I do have pictures from today but they are not on my computer yet, and my husband is waiting to watch the office with me, it is our new show to watch together and yes, I know were a few years too late- but we are loving it!! Anyway one last picture to share for the night, The picture doesn't do this justice,
See that line on my cheek... it hurt A LOT! Wanna know how I got it???
****
I WALKED INTO THE CORNER OF A CUPBOARD- seriously Brandon calls me a klutz all the time and I think he might be right... I did a number on myself!
***
Hope you've all had a Happy Monday! Keep the comments coming... thanks to the seven who posted on day one... Loved hearing from you all!!!

I have a goal this week...

Hi blogger friends... I've really been wanting to be a better blogger, so I've decided to set a goal for myself, and that is to do a post big or small every day. Hopefully each post will have photos to accompany it, what's a post without some pictures. Help me accomplish my goal by keeping me motivated with comments, I love hearing what you all have to say!
***
POST ONE: SUNDAY!
So today is Sunday, which meant church. I loved sitting with my new sister-in-law Sarah in church and in Relief Society. I love having her in the family, especially when she lets me pull the sister-in-law card in RS. I have some big weeks coming up in church, I'm teaching in RS next week and then I'm speaking in church on the following Sunday on Mother's Day... ahhh I'm freakin' out! I know I'll pull it off some how, but it stresses me out!
***
I was able to go and visit Finley and Emmy tonight, and they are looking GREAT! Finley is breathing on her own, with a little bit of oxygen in her nose. Emmy was breathing on her own but had to go back on the ventilator for a few days but we are hoping that she will be off it again soon. Both girls have gone over 2 lbs which is super exciting and today the girls actually weighed the same amount. Finley is longer and leaner where Emmy is shorter and stouter right now, but who knows lots could change. Today I got to see Emmy with both eyes nice and open, which was so awesome, and then I got to hear Finley make some little squeaks and grunt noises, it was amazing. I can't wait until I can share pictures of the girlies with you, but we all are waiting for the okay from their mommy and daddy. But trust me they are beauties!
***
One last point to mention is that I started working this week at Chapters and I think I'm going to LOVE it. It was just a training night, and I have another training night this week, but I love everything about the company. It feels like a family atmosphere and I love that! Fingers crossed it's equally as awesome when I start on the floor as a Chapters employee- I'm super pumped!

Here are the pictures to accompany this post. We had our annual family Easter brunch, with my mom's side of the family, and it was great to see everyone and the food was equally as amazing.
Uncle Brandon and the girls
Kathy and Laura were banished to the kitchen, Brandon, me, Mike, Keah, Mom and Jeff were all in the dining room at a table but they were kept separate- too funny!
Mike and Keah enjoying the morning before going to see their girls again. Emmy & Finley even had their own little name tags at the brunch
Kathy snuck into our table... Laura and I have a goal this year to take more pictures of Kathy and Jeff together, he likes to not co-operate with this goal- stinker
Jessica, Kathy and Jake during the easter egg hunt outside
Miss G checking out if she wants to share her candy with uncle brandon
Big sisters packing up their Easter treats!

Long Picture Recap... hope you make it through

So tonight I went with my sisters (Kathy, Keah and Laura) to see the movie The Last Song, which I was excited about because I read the book and LOVED it. I enjoyed the movie a lot, it brought tears to my eyes, but Miley wasn't Ronnie for me. Read the book, it's so good. The movie was made even better because of this stud muffin, Australian born actor Liam Hemsworth, he was pleasant to watch.
So I felt like a real teacher tonight because as I was waiting in line, I saw a student from my grade three practicum class. When we were closer together I said hi and she jumped up and gave me a big hug... turned out she was going to the same movie. I saw her come in and look around but her dad took her somewhere else to sit. After the movie she waited out side with me and we chatted about the movie for a few minutes and she walked out with us. Laura wanted a girls night group shot and my student took it for us. It was very cute.
Easter was a busy weekend for us. Thursday we finished student teaching, Friday my brother-in-law Jaccob got married, Saturday was Easter brunch and Sunday was conference and Easter dinner at the O'Hearons. Busy, Busy, Busy... we've been enjoying sleeping in this week. Laura took my camera for some photo fun outside on Sunday. I love this idea she had with the sidewalk chalk. The Nelson 5... too cute!
Didn't his name turn out cute, he wrote it himself and I helped him plump it up.
Love this little girl... our Sarah Grace, such a beauty
Look at those baby blues... not loving the grass.

As mentioned about my brother-in-law got married in the Halifax Nova Scotia Temple on Good Friday and it was a BEAUTIFUL day. The weather was perfect and everyone looked amazing. I took over 400 pictures, and they're all on facebook, but here are a few of my favourites.
Me and my sweetie enjoying the reception- he looked so cute in his tux
Sarah and Jaccob cutting the cake, I like this shot because you can see the flower in Sarah's hair, which looked awesome. The cake is actually not real, it's a fake cake that my mother-in-law and sister-in-law made and it smelt and looked so good.
My adorable in-laws, I'm very lucky to have them in my life- don't they look amazing!
My youngest sister-in-law Brittany and her super funny boyfriend Ian, they are super cute together. Brittany looked amazing at the wedding- such a cute couple
This is another shot credited to Laura and her love of unique pictures... such a beautiful shot of Sarah and her flowers
Mr. & Mrs. Jaccob Bing- thought I'd chosen one where he wasn't blinking... he was having a hard time with the sun that day.
aren't they just adorable- Sarah looked STUNNING!
The newly expanded Bing family... we are down to one person to be married. We like doing things in pairs, we got married in August, Meaghan was married in October. Chelsey was married in January, Jaccob was married in April. Brittany will have a wedding year all to her own.
They did a dove release and I thought this shot turned out awesome
They had a large wedding party filled with special people in their lives
The Bing Girls... just missing out newest addition
Brandon and I
Jason and Meaghan
Ryan and Chelsey

Thursday was my last day of school, which was bitter sweet. I'm excited to be done and one step closer to graduation, but sad because I'm going to miss my class so much. I took a bunch of pictures which I can't post but we had a great last day and I cried of course. The kids made me a really cute book, and Michelle my teacher gave me a silk screen and tool to use to silk screen t-shirts, which I'm super excited for. We did art in the afternoon and we did block printing which was super cool to do, something I will be doing with the nieces and nephews for sure.
The last week of school was also the week before the wedding so we had a few events for that, such as a rehearsal dinner. I took a few shots of the night, it was a great celebration with so much delicious food.

In March we celebrated Jacob's 6th birthday with cake and ice cream. It was a great celebration and a lot of fun. Here are a few shots from that great celebration.
Miss G liked her brother's new cape that we gave him
Together 6 years, I was there the day he was born... I sure love this big boy
sitting on his new ride... wow!
***
I was also able to go to a girls night at the Buxton home. It was a great night of friends, food and New Moon. We chatted throughout the movie, but we'd all seen it before which was okay. Beckey had a festive set up for the night which included and Edward that sparkles!
We also had a bridal shower for Sarah in March. Laura took this great shot of all the Bing ladies, now that Jaccob is married we are complete for the Bing Girls
Sarah also celebrated her birthday this month and got to wear "the hat"- we all have the pleasure of wearing it on our birthdays, and looking as cute as Sarah did!
Over the March break (it's been that long-i know) I was able to go hangout with Sonja and the kiddies for a little bit. Sonja's baby bump is growing all the time... I'm excited to meet Baby Girl Nelson this summer
Over the March break we had the opportunity to celebrate Emmy & Finley's birth with a baby shower. Keah was showered with so many amazing gifts and outfits for the girlies... they will look so cute when they can start wearing it all. Here are some pictures from that day...
Miss G taking a bike break and laying on the Dining room table
Chubby boy getting some exercise in the jolly jumper... he's working off those thunder thighs
This is one of the 20+ hugs that my students made for the twins the day they were born
Keah's face is awesome in this one... can you tell she was excited about the following picture...
twin tutu's for the babies made by great-aunt julie- they'll be so cute in them
Proud parents hanging out with the chunky monkey
The O'Hearon Girls, those three always plan their outfits without me... what can I say I prefer color in my life.
***
March also brought this kids first birthday and goodness was he fun to celebrate with. Dinner was delicious and cake was YUMMY. He enjoyed it a lot! Can you tell?
Someone thought using a fork after the fact would look more mannerly
The Bing's with the birthday boy- LOVE him!
We also had the four Nelson kiddies sleep over on the first official day of March break. We did crafts, had snacks, watched movies, built a tent and went to the play ground. This was the funniest picture from that adventure. We wanted to get a picture of all the kids hanging on the bar, we had everyone up and then added Georgia and then everyone else fell before we for the picture, we tried to get everyone else back up, and in the process forgot about Miss G, this picture shows B remembering that wait she is still hanging up there. Too funny!
***
Hope this blog finds everyone well. We are enjoying sleeping in and preparing to head back to the Mount for one more week. I'm on a job hunt, keep me in your prayers that I'll find something soon, I really want to work at Chapters.
***
Also keep the twins in your prayers, I haven't been able to see them in person for a little while because I've had a cold, it's almost gone and I can't wait to see the girlies again. I've heard they are both getting bigger and both have opened their eyes. I miss them loads and cannot wait to talk to them again.
