A Week in Review

Well first of all to start I have to Congratulate Josh and Julia on their new car, I'm so excited for them. It sounds like they had quite the time getting it all set up, so it must be nice to finally have their new car at home. Julia's blog was too fun to read about it all!! Lucky ducks won't have to take the bus as much now- such an added bonus!!! Julia, between us both having access to cars now, we'll have to do something, as soon as school settles down.

This week at school has been one of settling back into the swing of things again. It's been a challenge since I still have a cold, but I'm surviving. I had a presentation in class on Wednesday and all went well, the responses that my prof sent back were all very positive. Luckily Brandon is in that class with me so I know he'd tell me the truth if I totally sucked!

School is reaching the home stretch soon, and it's easy to tell because I have to much work to do and I'm not really sure where to start. I wrote up a list today of all that I had due over the next like month and it's pretty scary- I will be hiding away in my room writing like crazy from now on!! But some how I know I'll get it all done! I'll just be such a happy camper when mid April hits!

I'm a little nervous for this Sunday, because I am filling in teaching in Primary for Jessica. She teaches the 11 year old girls- I'm so not used to teaching kids that big. Give me a sunbeam to teach and I'm set, but 11 year old girls, it should be interesting. I'll let you know how that one goes!!hahha!!!

What would be a Blog without my usual survivor update...Survivor night was a blast as always we played a game of cranium turbo...Kerry, Laura and I vs. Nicole and Natalie...the team of three won it was all very exciting. Seriously if you have never played cranium turbo you have not experience real cranium it is soooo fun, i so want to buy it. The girls gave Nicole her birthday gift last night, which she loved, mine will be a little late for her but it's coming!! Today is her actual birthday- Happy Birthday Nicole.

Survivor was amazing as always, I was quite excited at my Relief Society meeting to find out that Nancy watches survivor too- it excites me when i find people who still watches it like i do. This week our tribe continued to loose, they seemed close at once but no luck. What worked for our tribe was that sadly Papa Smurf (Gary?) had to leave the game due to health problems which sucks. The Immunity challenge was quite interesting, although our tribe lost, the other winning tribe was faced with the decision to keep their comfy camp or to lose on of their tribe mates- the greedy people decided to keep their luxary. So now the tribe numbers are even which is great, but our favorite tribe is still lacking food. Its been an interesting season so far with one tribe living with nothing while the other tribe has it all. One more thing to mention, my favorite guy Yau Man survived a trip to exile island and is still going strong in the game!!

Let's see, it's been a busy week... Congratulations to go out to Brant and Melissa Quist on the birth of their daughter this week and also Congratulation to Donnie and Karlee Allred on the birth of their little boy Tate. Kristi has some cute pictures of him up on her blog. Both babies weighed over 9 pounds- craziness- I thought that only happened in my family!!

I think that's it for now...but I'll be sure to post more if I think of it...hope you are all doing great and surviving this storm...I'm getting back to work on my paper that's due monday and then it can be crossed off the list!! woohoo!!!

You'll be great at teaching the 11 year olds. I remember that lesson you taught in the YSA branch Relief society. It was awesome, you have a great talent at teaching.
