Today was a great day, and I wish I could post pictures from it but we've not been given the okay yet. Last night I did some visual merchandising at chapters, over night 9 pm-5 am. at about 1 am we were taking a break and having some pizza, and I checked my phone to see a text message from my brother. It said that we were going to have the chance to hold the girls this week, so I super happy and excited. So I went home from work at 5 am, and only got about 2 hours sleep, I just wasn't that tired, but I was awake to get Mike's message to say he was coming down to the city to surprise Keah, see his girls and be there when his sister's got to hold the girls. It was excited , because I figured I wouldn't get to hold them until later on this week.

We headed down to the hospital, Kathy and I were able to go in with both Mike and Keah and visit with the little ladies. Kathy started with Emmy and I had Finley and then we got to switch. It was amazing and I only teared up a little bit. I held it together because I didn't have a free hand to wipe my tears, and I didn't want to drip tears on Finley. It was great to get to snuggle with the girls, and feel how much they weigh and just talk and visit with them. They are both so perfect. They are breathing on their own, so it is wonderful to see their little noses without the oxygen prongs in them. They have delicate little lips and chubby cheeks. Finley has lots of beautiful hair, and since I was up close with Emmy today I actually realized that she does have a little bit of peach fuzz. It was nice to see the girls up close and feel them wiggle around in my arms. Finley slept soundly, and Emmy was a little wiggle worm. I LOVED every minute of it. I'm glad Mike and Keah let us come and have this special time with their girls.

I want to try to be a more consistent blogger so I'm going to try to see how many days in a row I can go with blogging. They may not always be long posts, but I'm hoping to have success. I know I enjoy reading everyone's daily posts even though I don't always get to comment.

This beginning post was to share the exciting news about holding our girls, but I also wanted to share some pictures from a Bing family dinner. We went out with the entire Bing gang to celebrate our graduation, which was a really nice night. We went to the Delta Barrington downtown which we always love and it was so delicious. It's great to hang out with the fam and just catch up mid week!
My loving in-law's- Peter and Laureen, I've been blessed to have them in my life
My sweetie and I, we were so excited for this meal, I didn't have to cook!!
The Bings: Sarah and Jaccob, Jay doesn't normally look so strange, I find this picture odd of him because he moved his face right when I took it. I think it looks like he waxed his eye brows!
Brittany with her stylin' boyfriend Ian, he'd just come from working at the bank
The Stewarts... baby will make three this fall, it was exciting to see Meg's little baby bump starting to grow!
The Fielden's... Chels and Ryan, he's always suffers through my picture taking with a smile!

glad you got to snuggle with the babies!! How exciting!! You are a much better blogger than I am. I think I may take a blogging hiatus for awhile
I am glad to hear the girls are doing so well. What a miracle! I can't even imagine what you have all been through, especially Mike and Keah. Looks like you have a great relationship with all of your in-laws, I am lucky that way too :) Glad to see you will be posting often. Keep it up :)
Glad to hear such an exciting update for the girls! I forwarded the link to your blog to a very good friend, Raf (Rafael). He really has been praying every day for them and after a couple of months had gone by, he finally asked me for their names so he could stop praying for "the twin girls" and use their names... I guess I'm a slacker and didn't tell anyone their names... oops! Anyway, he will be continuing to pray as long as needed.
Hope that you are having a great summer so far...
Miss you and love you,
"Mama"
;-)
Congratualtions on the twins. I am happy to hear that they are healthy. It is so wierd to see the little Bing girls all grown up!
