LOTS of Vacation FUN!!!!

Okay This is a WARNING for everyone as they begin to read this blog...it probably will be LONG but it has loads of pictures!

So as you saw from my last blog, Brandon and I celebrated our first wedding anniversary this month on August 4th...So this was one of the first things I did on my vacation and that was celebrate being married a YEAR!!! woohooo!!! I can't even believe that it has been a year, it's flown by but has just been great. I feel very lucky to have Brandon as my husband, he is the best!!! The first event of the BIG day was breakfast with the Bing's... I though it would just be with Brandon's parents but it was the whole family. I thought it was so sweet that everyone got up to come and celebrate with us. We ate at Cora's and it was delicious...I was stuffed by the time we were done. It was great to visit with the fam and remember what we were doing one year ago at that time...I think I was still getting my hair done at breakfast time!!hahha!!! I've always been blessed with a great family and I feel very lucky that I married into another great family. Brandon and I are very lucky to have such a wonderful family...we love every member...even you Laura...hhaha Just teasing...your the best little sister...hahha!!!

I took pictures of us at all our stops of the day...I won't post them all but this was us at breakfast that morning...Brandon was happy to be there even though he wasn't smiling...hahha! I wish I looked this tanned on my wedding day!

Happy 2nd Birthday Ethan! That was our next stop on our anniversary...and that was Ethan's 2nd birthday party which was a lot of fun. Ethan had a great family party and got loads of great gifts!! His super store cake was awwwww sooooo good... everyone enjoyed it...especially miss Georgia as you can see from below. He got this cool little race track thing which all the kids enjoyed watching and playing with...especially Phil and Matt...they were too funny setting it up!! I got to have another sneak peak at baby clothes from sonja...she has some super cute dresses for her little girl...I can't wait to see her in all these cute dresses!! It was fun to see everyone and especially the kids and to see how much they have grown since the wedding...the party started around 2ish and that was around the exact time that we were getting sealed for time and all eternity which was pretty exciting!!! When we were married Ethan was almost one and still crawling. Georgia was only a few months old...and was pouting in my wedding pictures...hahha!!

This is Georgia one year later...over dosed on sugar! It was too cute she was sitting there putting her finger in her cupcake and then to Ethan's...she was also loving the powdered donuts!

That night Brandon and I had some alone time as we headed out to the Greek Restaurant OPA for our anniversary dinner. We'd been given a gift certificate to the restaurant for our wedding from a friend and customer of mine at Roots and we'd been saving it...and it was well worth it because the dinner was delicious!!! Our waitress was really sweet and started the night off by bringing us glasses of Champagne because she knew we were celebrating out anniversary...we thanked her so much for the thought but of course sent the drinks back...we felt a little bad...but what can you do. I wanted Brandon to experience the coolness of OPA by having what I call the flaming cheese...I don't remember the Greek name.. but it i delicious...they have this cheese pour alcohol on it and then light it on fire so that the alcohol is burnt off and your left with this delicious shell on the cheese....ohhhhh it is soooo yummy!!! Our meals were delicious...especially my potatoes...yummy...I'm hungry just thinking about them. It was great to just be together and chat and remember our big day. We were trying to think about our reception...and we were talking about how we didn't get to eat as much of the food as we would have liked to, we were both just too stuffed...the day after our wedding we found out that they would have done up a plate for us...bummer!!! Oh the memories!! We had a great reception...we actually watched our wedding video this morning which was so much fun...Nathan did an amazing job with our video it's such a great memory to have!!! Back to dinner.... for dessert we shared a piece of cranberry mango cheesecake which was DELICIOUS!! We left the restaurant very full and very happy!!! That night we spent some quiet time watching a movie...P.S I Love You...which I have wanted to see for the longest time and Brandon finally gave in and let me rent it... I cried...given but it was not as good as the book was so everyone I recommend reading the book!!!! We had a great anniversary and I'm looking forward to many many more to come!!

I forgot to mention that Brandon and I also got to remember our wedding by having the top layer of our wedding cake which my sweet mother-in-law was storing in her freezer for us. It kept really well and actually still tasted really really yummy!!! We had fun eating it and cutting it up, although we ended up throwing out quite a bit of it in the end!!
****
On to the rest of VACATION...
****
The first full week of vacation was pretty low key...I took some time to clean the apartment, cook nice dinners for Brandon and I, watch some movies and do some scrapbooking. I have a scrapbook where put wedding invites of my friends and then I scrapbook the pictures I have taken at the reception...so far I've gotten Shane and Jessica, Kellie and Alex, and Katrina and Logan's weddings pretty much done, and they turned out really well. I was quite excited about that and can't wait to get onto the other weddings I attended!! We also went over and hung out with the Nelson kiddies...we played a little Wii...Bran had a little water fight with the kids and I played with the webkinz...thanks to Sarah Grace who got me addicted to Cash Cow....I hooked all four kids up while they were away by caring for their pets...and getting them points...let me just tell everyone they have some really fun games on there!!!
****
Happy Birthday KEAH!!! On Saturday the 9th we celebrated Keah's birthday....which was really Keah's birthday week which she made known at dinner...hahah she was too cute!!! We headed out to OPA again for her birthday dinner....just me and O'Hearons ( mom and dad- mike and keah). It was so much fun having dinner with the fam..I again made them try the cheese...and we also tried this dip that kathy had recommend which was super yummy!!! Dinner again was delicious...I don't think I could ever get sick of OPA!! They surprised Keah with a special birthday dessert, with a candle and everything! As you can see from they picture she was pretty excited about that!!! hahha I just love keah!!!! After dinner we headed back home to have some birthday cake...which was of course a super store cake which was super super yummy!!! We also had a family sing-a-long to the soundtrack if the movie mama mia and all the ABBA hits...it was sooooo funny...I love my family!!!!
All the O'Hearons at Keah's Birthday Dinner at OPA!
This is a shot of me and my sister-in-law Keah Outside my favorite place OPA!!!

Monday brought on the COTTAGE! The Bing's rented a cottage for the week so we headed out there for four days. Although the sun didn't make an appearance too much we had a great time and enjoyed hanging out with the whole family. This is a shot of the cottage from the dock...so cue all snuggled up there in the trees. Phil, Sonja and Ethan headed up with us on the first day and we hit the water as soon as we could. Ethan didn't love his life jacket or the boat too much but he did love throwing the rocks into the water. I'm not the biggest fan of out door water...I enjoy pools but not knowing what's in the water makes me nervous... so sonja and I hung out on the dock and watched the boys try water skiing and took pictures, which was a blast! We had a pizza party for dinner and home made ice cream made by meaghan. Peter, Laureen, Brandon, myself and jaccob stayed up until almost 2am playing games...it was so funny! We were all getting pretty crazy funny!!!!!

The Nelson Family hanging out on the dock!! I think ethan wants OFF!A much happier Ethan showing off his baby blues safe on land!!!
My brother-in-law Jaccob getting ready to try the water skiing for the first time after his mission and he wasn't rusty at all he got up first try and was even able to kick off one ski and go on just one ski...we were impressed!!!
I wish everyone could see this bigger it's my awesome husband skiing using one hand and waving to us on shore!!! I was definitely impressed!!!This was Day 2 of our cottage vacation... Brandon, me, Peter and Laureen headed out on the boat that morning and toured around the lake. Then when we got back Brandon and I took out the canoe for a little trip. Phil, Sonja and Ethan came up for day two and the boys had some more fun on the water. The weather wasn't the greatest that day so we stayed inside and watched the Olympics and robin hood. I also started reading Breaking Dawn...and was super excited about that. I'd been waiting to start it and a rainy day seemed like the perfect opportunity! Brandon and his dad went out just before dinner and tried to do some fishing with GREAT SUCCESS! We didn't believe them at first, but they produced a GREAT fish. The cooked it up and ate it for dinner... I didn't try it but Brandon said it was the best fish he'd ever eaten!
Brandon and Peter with the Catch of the day...such a great picture of these to guys!

Day Three at the cottage brought some sun finally!!! As you can see from the picture above Brandon and I were very excited about that. Day three also brought all the family back up to the cottage. I got a lot of reading done that day I'd almost finished reading breaking dawn...I was hooked on the reading!!! But we did take some time to head down to the water, Laureen and I went down to the office and got a paddle boat and got a good work out paddling back down to the cottage. Chelsey and Ryan tried their water skiing skills...

How cute is my sister-in-law chelsey...working her way into the water...she was super impressive water skiing...she stayed up for the longest time!!!

This is Chelsey's boyfriend Ryan who she convinced to try water skiing...his first try he didn't make it but second time up he actually got up on the ski's...yeah Ryan. He has a bad ankle which didn't let him have a third run!

Meaghan and Jason were able to come up Wednesday night and we celebrated Meaghan's birthday...which was the next day. We had a delicious steak dinner and watched meaghan open some presents and had a yummy yummmy birthday cheese cake! That night Jaccob, Josh and Jason also tried their skill at water skiing which again they all had success!!! This was a cute picture of Meaghan and Jason on the dock that night!!! Meaghan got a super fun game for her birthday called catch phrase...if you've never played you don't know what you are missing. So we all got together around the campfire that night and roasted marsh mellows and played round after round of catch phrase...we laughed soooooo much!!!

I had been waiting for this marsh mellow all summer. and it was worth the wait! I did of course burnt my hand that night on Brandon's marsh mellow cooker which was a hanger...luckily I iced it and Laureen gave me something to put on it and I was fine!!!

The last thing we did that night was sparklers to celebrate Meaghan's birthday...there had been some fireworks purchased but we found out we were not allowed to use them...although one was accidentally set off and it was super cool...we're saving them though for another time!!!

****

Thursday brought our last day at the cottage...Brandon went out and did some fishing and us Bing girls played some croquette (sp?). We were not quite too sure on the rules but we made up our own special version and had so much fun!!! I took some nice shots of nature around the cottage and I really liked this one of the dock it just looked so peaceful and relaxing. It's my favorite place to just sit! Meaghan and Jason brought their dog Buddy up to play with Lucy at the cottage it was so funny to watch her fly into the water and swim around. We headed home thursday since Brandon had to work that night...we drove home in the rain which I guess was the perfect time to head home. We were both pretty excited though to be back home and just sit and relax although I did three loads of laundry that night!!!

Friday was my last day of vacation which i was so so sad about...I didn't want to go back to work at all. So I relaxed around home...did some grocery shopping and then headed out to a surprise baby shower for my cousin Sara who was up visiting from Utah...I have pictures but I don't have them on the computer yet...I'll post them on facebook soon. Sara was surprised by the shower and got some beautiful gifts...she was really cute opening the gifts!! She looks great and has a cute little baby bump...she is having a little girl and is due in early november. I had so much fun hanging out with my cousins...it was great to see both Sara and Emily and all of emily's cute kiddies!!!

So this is the end of my massive blog...I started back at work on Saturday and wow do I not want to be there...I'm a little more excited for school to start because I like not being at work...hahha. It's just kinda wierd because my replacement is in training right now, so there is nothing for me to really do since she has to learn it all. I'm finding lots to do visually though in the store so I am surviving...Jeff you are so lucky you are not here to atch your replacement be trained...I think Laura is closer to finding a full time key though.

Oh one more thing...on monday before we went to the cottage I went and saw mama mia with my mom, mike and laura and it was AWESOME everyone should see it...I have been singing ABBA ever since...I totally want to see it again....such a CUTE movie!!!

Okay now my back is officially sore because I've been sitting gere for over 2 hours. Hope you enjoyed this massive update. The next big thing going on in our home is that we start school on september 3rd...ahhhh soooo crazy!!! Hope everyone is having a rocking summer can't wait for everyone's updates!!

P.S this was so long that I didn't re-read it so I hope that it all makes sense!!

Hey Everyone if you can't tell from my title I'm a little excited because I'm on VACATION from work and I couldn't be more happy about that! Yesterday at work I found out that I actually had miss counted my vacation days and I was missing two days so...my vacation is two extra days long...so I don't go back to work until August 16th...so if anyone wants to do something fun, let me know because I don't have anything too exciting planned other then relaxing and enjoying not working...ahhhhhh... I'm so happy to be on VACATION!!!!!!!! But enough of my excitement!
***
So this week has been a long one knowing that I was going on vacation but it's also been a fun one because we were able to have some friends over to our apartment. Monday night Phil, Sonja, Ethan and my brother-in-law Jaccob came over to hangout...the boys stayed at our place and played video games while sonja and I went back to her place so that she could show me all the fun things she has for her little baby girl that's coming in October! It was super fun and soooo cute, she has some really adorable outfits for the baby and her crib bedding is sooooo pretty, I would want it for my bedding but I don't think brandon would go for the pink. Ethan's little room is really cute too...with his little bed with the fun bedding too it's a really cute room for a little boy!! I took a few pictures while I was there and these three were some of my favorites!!!
A cute shot of Ethan, every time I'd take a picture he'd come over and want to see it! too funny
a shot of sonja and baby girl Nelson, too fun!! Sonja had the cutest dress on that night!
The newest member of the Nelson Family...I don't know if I'll spell the name right but it's schuie...and everyone he is as cute as sonja made him out to be on her blog, he is so tiny and soft and cute and adorable...I wanted to just take him home!!!! Love him!!!

***

So Tuesday after work I rushed home to make some fruit salsa which turned out delicious because the girls were coming over that night to have a games night before Nicole headed back out west. Kerry brought a new game...a version of Cranium called Pop5 (i think) and it was so much fun to play...a new twist on our favorite game. I think we played it two or three times that night. Brandon even joined in on the game playing and was a great addition. I feel really lucky that Brandon is able to get along so well with the girls, they are all such important parts of my life that it would really stink if my husband couldn't get along with them. Brandon is always so funny when the gals are around. He was a good sport especially with some of the interesting events of the night, but I won't get into that on here. We also played the game Apples to Apples which nicole brought and I want to buy because it's so much fun, hours of fun!!! It was such a great night to just hangout with the whole group...normally we are two down with nicole living out west and denise in Ontario so it was such a great night. I love the girls so much and am always so glad when we get to hangout, I think the highlight from that night would have to be Laura being the Kool-Aid Man...hahhaha....sooooo funny!!!

A group shot of the girls with the cute letters Kerry brought us back from miss tiggy winkles, I'm going to make mine a magnet for the fridge. I love how all our colors work together it's almost like we planned it. Just so everyone knows who is who, here are our names from left to right... me, Kerry, Nicole, Natalie, Denise and Laura.
I wanted to also post this picture of me and denise, it had been almost a year since I saw denise...she was here for my wedding...so its been super awesome to have her in town again. Her and her boyfriend Kevin came into visit me at work and we had a super awesome long visit, it definitely made work go by faster!!! Thanks guys love ya!!!!

***

That's about it for now...I'm taking this first day of vacation to just relax and do nothing. I'm sooooo happy about that. I have some cards to make eventually today, but that's relaxing to me, anyway hope everyone has a great long weekend. Oh and I need to send a shout out to Jessica and Sarah who both got their ears pierced this week and were both super brave, and also Sarah scored a goal in soccer....way to go girls. Earring pictures to come soon!!!

Welcome Baby Lyla Jae Blakeney!!!!

Welcome Baby Lyla Jae Blakeney!!
I'm sure most of you know that Josh and Julia had their baby girl yesterday Tuesday July 22nd, 2008...Finally!!!! I was so excited for Julia to hear that the wait was over because she was more then ready for miss lyla to arrive!!! Vanessa being the super aunt that she now is sent me a picture on my phone with the details, sooooo excited!!!

***
Lyla weighed 7lbs. 13 oz and was I believe 20.5 in length. I waited all day to get to go visit her since the hospital is pretty close to the store...so after roasting all day at work since the air conditioner was still broken I booked it over to the hospital. Proud Grandparents Jewel and Barry were there when I arrived, and I got to hold miss Lyla right away. Everyone she is so cute and so tiny!!! I think she is a good mix of both mommy and daddy...I see Julia in her eyes and Josh in the nose. She has a little bit of dark hair that stands up a little bit which is really cute!! I guess she's been sleeping well and not fussing too much at all. I took a few pictures as I was holding the little cutie.... I love this one even though it's a little dark I love how her hand is up by her cheek...I always feel bad taking pictures with a flash around babies but I did take a few...check out facebook to see the rest. Both mom and dad seem to be doing well....Julia told me that I should look into adoption because labour was not fun. Julia was really cute and funny as she was telling me about it. It was especially crazy for me too see Josh as a dad... we've been friends since we were fourteen so we go way back and it's crazy to see how far we've both come since our youth days together!!! I think they'll both be such great parents and I'm super excited for both of them as they start out on this adventure as a family of three!!!!! Welcome to the World Baby Lyla!!!!

Shiny faced me with cutie pie Lyla!!!!
Lyla Jae Blakeney total cutie!!!
***
I wanted to thank everyone for their sweet message during this sad time for me, it was a great comfort for me to hear what everyone had to say and cheered me up!! It was strange being at my parents house without Ashes being there but I know she is in a better place so it makes it just that much easier!!! So thanks friends, our little blogging family is the BEST!!!
***
Nothing too much has been going on in our home...Brandon and I had a rainy day off together so we took advantage of our time together to get some exercise and walked in the rain up to the library which was a lot of fun, we both got some books and magazines and just enjoying sitting together check out some of the latest magazines at the library...can't wait for our next trip!!
***
This week is going to be a great one because some of my girls are in town for a visit...I haven't seen Denise since my wedding and I have seen nicole since I think January so I'm excited to see the girls and have our whole group back together again for a short time. I have a great group of friends from high school and am blessed to have them in my life!!!
***
Work has been a SAUNA!!! It's making me count down to my vacation even more...still no replacement for me yet... it's going to be interesting to see them function without me around so much, not to toot my own horn but I've been there the longest and get a lot of things done around the store so it's going to be a big adjustment...for them and for me, I don't know what I will do without working so much...I'm sure I'll manage!!!
***
Nursery is still going well...we had a fan this week which made a HUGE difference...we didn't melt this week which I really appreciated!! It was a strange week for me because normally we have only one boy and the rest are girls but this week we have 4 boys and 2 girls...so strange. But they were all GREAT!!! This month brought Morgan and Kai into nursery and both had great first weeks in nursery and hopefully they'll both have many more!!!
***
I think that's all that's been happening around here, it's been exciting with new babies...welcome Charlotte and Ben to the family and Lyla!!! Hope this finds everyone well and enjoying the summer weather...I'm looking forward to my vacation and my first wedding anniversary!!

Oh and a big welcome to Jen who just joined the blogging family!!!! Check out her blog it's super cute!!

A Sad Night In Our Home

In Memory of my Cat Ashes 1994-2008
***
My eyes are a little puffy this morning, it was a hard night it our home last night. I was in bed and had just turned the lights out and was dozing off to sleep when the loud buzzer in my apartment started to buzz, obviously I wasn't expecting anyone, so I didn't answer. It was buzzed four long times and I became pretty scared. I called Brandon to calm myself down and was pretty freaked out by it. That is when my mom gave me a call... one of the saddest calls I've had in awhile...
***
Unfortunately my mom had bad news for me, they had to put my cat Ashes down last night. Well lets just say I burst into tears immediately. Ashes as you can see was pretty old, so yesterday she had a stroke, from what mom told me it was pretty scary. They rushed her to the emergency animal hospital where the vet confirmed that she'd had a stroke and that she had lost vision in one of her eyes. I think mom said that they could have brought her home, but she wouldn't have lasted too much longer and was probably in some pain. So the decision was made for her to be put down. Mom had wrapped her in one of her home made fleece blankets to take her to the vet, so mom and dad stayed with her wrapped in the blanket until she drifted away. Mom said that my Dad was really great and just held her and talked to her to keep her calm especially since she could hear dogs barking which she doesn't love at all and he didn't even call her furball once which was what he'd always called her. As sad as I am about my cat I know that this is the best thing for her, she had a good life and was old and I didn't want her to suffer any more. I know that she is definitely in a better place now.
***
Ashes was the best cat ever, I got her for Christmas in grade five because I wanted a kitty surprise the one that has kittens in it, but they couldn't find it anywhere so they got me a real kitty surprise!!! It was the best Christmas ever. She wasn't always the most friendly cat, but as she grew older she became much more loving. She always would sleep on the end of my bed, when she was younger she used to attack my feet in bed, it was pretty funny. I'll never forget the night I went to let her in the house and Laura was downstairs too and so Ashes came into the house with a mouse in her mouth. We both freaked out and got on chairs and let mom deal with the mouse....gotta love mothers and all they have to do. Ashes was especially fond of Brandon, when we were dating he stayed one night and slept in the couch in the basement when I went to wake him up in the morning Ashes was down on the couch watching him sleep, it was too cute! She loved being scratched by her ear the most, and every time we'd come over since the wedding she'd come to get some love. I felt really bad leaving her when I got married, but in her old age I didn't think it would be good to move her to a new place, I think I've felt a little guilty ever since then. We saw her last on Saturday night after the wedding reception, she was sitting out on the deck step and mom was trying to get her to come in, had I of know that would be the last time I'd of seen her I would have given her a big hug and a scratch by the ear! I loved her so much.
***
Anyway just wanted to write a little bit about my cat, she was with me through a lot, and she will be missed so much. For a happier post keep reading I did just update last night with some new pictures so check it out! Hope everyone is doing well, Have a GREAT week!!

Not enough hours in the day...

So lately I've been feeling like I just don't have enough hours in the day to do what I want...and it hasn't helped that I was side tracked with a cold his past week. Who gets cold in the heat of the summer??? Somehow I do. I have a great manager at work though who let me go home last Tuesday to catch up on some needed sleep...I'm hoping to regain my energy this week, and get back to normal!! So far so good!!
***
I've been trying to improve my cooking skills...and so far so good I now have three meals that I've almost mastered and this week I was really wanting some home made bread rolls...so with the help of my mom and Betty crocker I made my first batch of bread rolls and they were delicious!! I had a few people test them and all had positives things to say so I was quite excited about that!!
***
So since I've been lacking time and energy I haven't been on here to update...so i have a little catching up to do. At the beginning of the month we celebrated Canada Day! I love when we have paid holidays because that means I get an extra day off...although I was sick with the cold on my first Saturday off since like my wedding...but anyway back to Canada day... Brandon and I enjoyed sleeping in that day and relaxing around the house that morning. That afternoon in the heat of July we headed over to Brandon's parents home for some Canada Day celebrations!! It's always fun to spend time with mom and dad Bing and the family!! It was a beautiful day and we had a BBQ out on the back deck. The back yard is so amazing... to see pictures that I took that day check out my facebook. Peter and I had a lot of fun playing some basketball, they recently paved the drive way and have put up a basketball net...I haven't gotten to play basketball in a few years so it was great to shoot around again. We had a lot of fun spending time together and shooting around!! Dinner was delicious and we got to take some cute pictures of everyone...Chelsey my sister-in-law and her boyfriend Ryan, and Brittany my sister-in-law and our neighborhood friend Malcom. Everyone was super cute in their Canada Day Tees!
***
This is a self shot of Brandon and I in the backyard...didn't turn out to shabby!
***
That night Peter and Laureen took us out to the movies, we went and saw the Hulk which I really enjoyed. It was really cute, Brandon enjoyed comics as a child so he was filling me in on all the characters, and their stories and I enjoyed it a lot. The movie was really good...I was surprised that I liked it so much...but really I'm satisfied if there is a love story in the movie and there was! It was a great night hanging out with family... we always have a blast at the Bings!
This week I had Friday off, so we finally were able to plan another card making night. Kathy came and picked me up and we went out to Bayers Lake to do some shopping, Kathy is always amazing at finding a good deal which I totally appreciate!! We headed back to the apartment and Lesly came over and we worked hard at our cards. We don't always get a lot of cards made, but we have a lot of fun hanging out and chatting. Hopefully we can start having them more regularly. This is a picture of my good buddy Lesley, she is super talented although sometimes she doesn't think she is. Kathy took it and I think she looks adorable. Check out Facebook to see our beautiful cards we were quite proud of them. I always like to take pictures of my end results so that I can re-create them later!! Laura and Vanessa stopped by that night to visit and pick up some things for EFY...I love when people come over to visit at the apartment so much fun!!!
***
Saturday night Brandon and I were able to have a fun night out with some great friends, as we headed to Saint Mary's Boat Club for an anniversary wedding celebration for my friend Kerry's older sister Jessica and her husband Thomas. They were married last July in Fiji and have been living in Australia ever since...so they came home for a visit and we had a great night celebrating their marriage and their first anniversary. I got to meet a lot of Kerry's extended family and see her parents who I just love...It's hard when you grow up and move out because you don't get to see your friends parents as much, and Dick and Kathy are two of the best they are just the cutest! Kathy did a lot of the planning and the table set ups which were simply beautiful, she is one talented lady...it was like a little piece of Fiji in Halifax. I also love when Brandon and my friends all get dressed up so we can take some adorable pictures, which we did that night. Dinner was DELICIOUS...I'm still thinking about it...it was a buffet style and ohhh was so good my favorite were the potatoes...Brandon liked it all!! We also were treated to amazing desserts...ohh it's making me hungry thinking about it!! There were some really sweet toast given...Kerry's was especially cute and funny...I love Kerry she is one of the funniest people I know and did awesome!!! Great job Kerry!!! Dick and Kerry's little brother Liam did a really cool song for Jessica and Thomas... so there is a traditional Nova Scotia song called Barret's Privateer, well they used the tune to that song but put Jessica and Thomas Love story to it...the video is posted on Facebook it was a lot of fun and it got all the guest involved singing along! The Millers are always so creative and fun! It was a wonderful celebration and Brandon and I had a wonderful night!!! Check out all the photos on can you guess... Facebook!!!
This is a shot of the room, aren't the table settings so beautiful so summery and beachy!

Me and two of my favorite people, my girls Natalie and Kerry, we are a good looking group of ladies if I do say so myself...we missed you Laura, Nicole and Denise!!

My favorite shot of the night, me and my sweet husband at sunset out on the deck.

We've been busy working hard and getting over colds but we are doing great. I'm looking forward to two weeks off from work and going to the cottage that Peter and Laureen are renting. I'm looking forward to just relaxing sleeping in and doing nothing particular!! We are getting closer to our first wedding anniversary and we can't believe that we've almost been married a year!!
