Who's Got Mail....

I had to share this happy moment of my day! I've been feeling a little run down this past week, which is mostly my fault due to lack of sleep, but I feel a cold coming on and I am trying my best to keep it away. So today I was feeling extra run down and blah, but I had to teach so I got ready and headed to a day in grade five. Every Monday at this particular school they have a school assembly, and at this assembly they deliver mail to staff and students from others in the school. Well today they did their little chant... "Who has mail from the ----- mailbox" insert school name in... and then the principal or VP says the name and it's NEVER been me until today! So all the kids say, "Mrs.Bing has mail from the ----- mailbox". So I had to walk up in front of the entire school to get my mail. So when I sit back down, the student teacher that I was working with asked what it was so I opened it, and just smiled and laugh, scroll down to see what my treat in the mailbox was today.... any guess..?

It was JUSTIN BIEBER.... just for me... hahahahah!!!! It made me laugh so, so much!! It just brightened my day and gave me a good laugh. I think my student teacher friend might have had a hand in doing this, I've been sharing my new appreciation for the Biebs with her, which she doesn't get at all... so here is why i think she did it...

1. The envelope's printing although wiggly didn't look like a students printing

2. When mail wasn't done right away she commented "Oh no mail today?"

3. She asked me what it was so I would open it and see...

4. One of the students in my class had the original of this poster and asked why someone sent it to me, but I don't think she was around when I opened it.

Those are my reasons and I appreciate her doing it, although I think she was teasing me a bit, I LOVED it!! Thanks to my friends at school for brightening my day!!

This weekend I had another happy moment, a girls night with our friend JoLynne... we'd hung out earlier and made cupcakes and my sisters and I just needed to go hangout again, although Laura couldn't come in the end. Kathy and I had a blast with Jo and her husband Curtis... we visited with them, laughed a lot, ate yummy treats and decorated DELICIOUS cupcakes! Jo made the cupcakes for us to decorate and how cool are they?? They were just as yummy as they looked! We used creme cheese frosting and all sorts of goodies and homemade fondant to give them a festive St.Patrick's feel. These are pic's of Jo's cupcakes, they turned out so much cuter then mine did, so I needed to post them... isn't she SUPER talented?? Thanks Jo for an amazing fun night, we have a few more of them planned before she moves back to the US when Curt finishes school. We are going to miss her so, so much!
