Days Off and Soccer Night

I finally had a day off!! My manager was away this past week so I was running the show, which I have to say went really well- we had an amazing week in sales and the store looks great! It was a very long week though, seeing as my day off last week was Monday and I had to work this past sunday...it was a week on working everyday... I thought I was going to cry...well it wasn't that bad, but a girl can exaggerate!

So Tuesday was my day off, and I had many things I wanted to accomplish and I feel pretty good about what I checked off the list! I wanted to go and pick up some things from the craft store for the wedding, so I headed over and gave kathy a hand with the kids and she gave me a hand with the craft shopping. We had the three girls with us while mom took jake to see his speak doctor lucy. The girls were great in the store and as I treat I got them (well not georgia) stickers and happy meals. They are tricky little girls, I planned to take them for ice cream and they both said they wanted burgers, what's an auntie to do!! I picked up quite a bit at the craft store and now it's all about just getting everything made. With Kathy's help I think we'll succeed in that goal! I have to put a big thank you out to my survivor night girls...they gave me a $40 dollar gift certificate as part of my birthday gift and it came in handy when buying my wedding stuff!!!

That night mom and I went to soccer with kathy and the kids. Brandon met us there so they had a big cheering club that night. It was so much fun to be on a soccer field again. I haven't gotten to play the past few years and have really missed it, so if anyone ever wants to play a friendly game of soccer make sure I get a call!! Anyway Brandon and I had a great time watching the girls play- they were too cute they kept looking over and smiling at us! Brandon had fun holding georgia again and playing soccer with jake on the side lines. He's really getting into the uncle role, he brought them each a sweet treat tonight which they were all excited to eat. The soccer game was cute, too bad Jessica and Sarah were on the same shift as the biggest ball hogger on the team...although they don't keep score our team definitely won! Go Gold Diggers...that's right it's their team name! After the game we walked the kids over to the car and the girls both gave me pictures that they had made for me which was really sweet. They had used the stickers I had given them to make me a picture- man I love those kids!

That night Brandon and I just went home and relaxed and watched TV. It'll be so nice to go home to our own place and not have to worry about driving home at 1am...it's now just under a month until the wedding and I could be more excited. i still have A LOT to do, but I know it'll all come together!! I should go get somethings done today and head down to the mall to pay off the rest of Brandon's ring!! Here are a few more pictures from the game hope you enjoy- see facebook for the rest of them!

Karen, I wish I could be there to help you with whatever you need! Thank you for your oodles of support. I'm so excited for you, this is such a special time!.... My mom kept trying to convince me that in many ways it's the "best" time because it's when he makes time for you and he's not worried about "providing" for the family... but really I wouldn't change being married for having to drive home at 1:00 in the morning after a long undesired goodbye. People say when you get married you become old and "go to bed early" like it's a bad thing but it's such a blessing and so nice to fall asleep with the one you love and actually have a decent night sleep. I can't wait for you!!!!!!!!! Have you found a place to live yet?!

So cute! And I think it's cute how Brandon is all Uncle-ie! I love that he brings them treats...I think he's making sure he's the favorite! I didn't get to give you your gift so Tanya has it. AND it has no card...I'm a mess but what I was going to write on it was "everyone needs a little extra light in their life and fun nights with guests"
